I hate most sequels and I like the first movie but find Hawke and his family really annoying. I enjoyed everything about the 2nd movie more but I will say first movie had better kill videos.

that RAT SCENE!!!!!!!

makes it as memorable as the first

yeah but that scene has been played out a lot in movies in the past. One being 2 fast 2 furious.

Yes, I think he gained the super human strength because he killed the Father, before the former deputy got there. If the Father had not already been killed, maybe the boy would have been killed or badly hurt by being hit by the truck.
