Christmas morning tape

That was weird. The music freaked me out a bit.

Terrible film overall though.

That was definitely the creepiest execution. The music was more atmospheric, and it wa disturbing seeing close-ups of the victims faces as they slowly froze to death.

End of line, man!

That bit seriously creeped me out and I also found it unbearably sad for some reason. It was so effective that I literally couldn't focus on the rest of the film and it stayed with me even after the movie was finished. The rest of the film was "meh" but that bit was well-done.

Was I the only one who LOL'ed during the snow burial? Was seriously funny. I've seen guys bury themselves in snow and last much longer, plus I don't think you'd die from it.

reply

You dont think you would die from being burried in snow in the middle of the winter? ok...

How did your friends acquire these superhuman powers?

reply

I've seen it on Jackass and they didn't die guys.

reply

Good joke.

Go outside during winter and bury yourself under the snow for a night and we'll talk about it after that. (no we wont)

reply

Being in the snow can keep you warmer if the wind chill is colder than the snow. But that's usually a snow tunnel that allows your body heat to heat up the air around you. Having it right on top of you probably wouldn't help as much.

TomandAndy did an awesome job with the music in that particular home movie.

That one and the "Kitchen Remodel" were both pretty jacked up.

Milo's home movie in the church with the rats was the most fvcked up to me

reply

That scene had a licensed track by Ulver. It wasn't Tomandandy's score on the Christmas tape.

reply

Oh cool I didn't know they used any Ulver for the sequel. The Teachings IN Silence album came out in a limited supply on vinyl in Germany, I think it was, and I bought a copy, it's awesome to listen to on a record player.

What are you basing the timeline on to know how much longer you believe people can be buried in snow and remain unharmed?

1) There was a cut in the footage, and a significant amount of time must've passed because it started with the kid shoveling some snow onto their family, then it cut away and all four family members were entirely buried except for their heads when the kid began filming again.

2) The kid was also using a regular shovel, not a snow shovel, so unless the other ghosts helped out, that kid may have spent quite a long time slowly burying them one shovelful at a time.

3) The kid might not have even turned the camera on right after finishing burying them.

4) The temperature could've been 32°F, 15°F, 0°F... What was the temperature when you saw guys bury themselves in snow?

5) They had practically no protection, buried in their nightclothes.

6) In the northern hemisphere, Christmas is around the time where the days are the shortest and the nights are the longest, so the events of that video could've potentially taken place over 12 hours.

I seriously wouldn't trust Jackass as a reliable source of information. By all means give it a try however, if your in the mood for heroics :D
