Having a baby ideally should be a wildly joyous event. My family was overjoyed when they found out I was pregnant even though we weren't married that long. How old were the people in this movie supposed to be?
Edit: my question is why they were getting a sonogram that early? Many insurance companies won't pay for that at 7 weeks. It's not medically necessary and there is basically nothing to see. You can listen to the heartbeat but you don't need an ultrasound for that.

8 months later they seem to regret having the kid and now they aren't so happy anymore lol!

Many people, especially family members get REALLY happy over pregnancies, as there are some people that can't have kids. Maybe think about other people's points of view before you spout off about things like this.
shareIt's fairly standard for everyone to be joyful at the news of a baby wherever the relationship is stable or societally sanctioned and 'celebrated' itself, by those same friends and family.
It's only when circumstances aren't acceptable by the couple or the people in their lives that the reaction instead is "oh sh!t."
