Mother's relationship

I absolutely loved their relationship. I wish they had more screen time together

The mom was promiscuous also maybe that is where she got the idea...Banging her friends hubby.

For some reason, I thought the woman married to the black guy is the mom's sister.

You may be right, I just settled for it wrong. The film was made its point in an uninspiring manner and I am still trying to understand its meaning.
