I liked this show. It was nothing if not entertaining, but that landlady was such a magical negro trope that was screaming for some character development. I'm thinking that Ed should have busted his cherry with her. Then she could have existed for more than just dispensing wisdom to the white main character. Hell, big girls need love too.
