Usually when a show gets cancelled people flock to the board. Here, crickets.

Cancelled on a cliff hanger. This has to be one of the saddest cancellation shows I've seen, at least personally.

reply

The cancellation of A&E's The Glades ended on a worse cliffhanger. In any case I am bummed that ABC cancelled this.

Wonder is the seed of knowledge.

reply

Oh man, yeah the Glades cancellation cliffhanger was enough to sour me on the whole show. Then again, seems like every season of that show ended on a cliffhanger... though nothing quite like that last season.

reply

That really sucks. I just started watching the first season, too.... things like this make me not even care to finish watching a show at all.

reply

Gosh, just watched the 3rd episode and actually was starting to like it. Unfortunately it was on the same time as another show I watch "Person of Interest" and so I caught it on hulu.

So people actually prefer Wife Swap. ugh!.

reply

I quite like the idea behind the series, but to be honest as soon as I saw Christian Slater in it I guessed it wouldn't last long as most things he's in are cancelled. I do still quite like the series though - they could at least air the whole season since it's half way through.

Unsurprising, given the ratings. Thanks for posting the info.

Nobody exists on purpose; nobody belongs anywhere; everybody's gonna die. Come watch TV?

reply

I am really quite pissed that ABC cancelled this for the reality crap Wife Swap junk. Kyle Killen is a visionary, and I loved his other show Awake too. So many people in this country have National Enquirer tastes..ugh.

reply

Well, Awake had its own problems, despite the truly spectacular concept, and so did this show. But I fully agree they were both a great deal better than some reality junk!

It's very disappointing (I mean, in terms of how I view my fellow Americans) that something like that will get better ratings than this did.

reply

Maybe if the networks had given them a chance they could have fixed the kinks. But NO, they have to cancel these unique shows in the blink of an eye nowadays.

I really enjoy(ed) this show! I think it would've fared better on TNT though. Sad that ABC didn't give it a better timeslot or more time.

reply

How much of this show was shot? Is there even enough for a home release?

"I said no camels, that's five camels, can't you count?"

reply

They filmed 13 episodes, and only showed 5 of them. That would be enough for a DVD.

reply

Well that sucks. It was shaping up to be a pretty good show. I found this thread when I went looking to see why it hasn't been on. Thought they might have moved it to another night, didn't think they'd cancel this fast.

Another potentially great show bites the dust.

reply

I enjoyed this show a lot, which probably meant it would be cancelled Lol.
