Typhoid Mary was never in a nut house.

Typhoid Mary was quarantined in a cottage at a hospital facility on an island in the East River of New York (there are several islands). She was kept quarantined because she did not believe she was a carrier of typhoid (it was in her gallbladder and she would have been cured if she had allowed it to be removed)and she kept infecting people because she wouldn't stop working as a cook.

She wasn't in solitary in a loony bin.

All the author had to do was look her up on Wikipedia, but, then, I guess he wouldn't have much of a film if he let little old things like facts and the non existence of ghosts and the supernatural get in the way.
