I enjoyed the film, especially because it allows me to witness the real life of a different culture. But I was wondering if what we see in the film is similar to the every day life of Georgian people.
The dance scene was very touching and interesting, I wonder also if it was a reasonably good performance. I found it very special, very different to the dances I know.
I'm not Georgian but I also grew up in a post-communist country - Romania. Therefore, this movie felt very familiar.
I have no doubt this is an accurate portrayal of the Georgia of 1992.
Just keep in mind, the movie takes place in 1992, so life might have changed a bit since then.
Yes it is a faithful recreation of 90's Georgia
