1) At the beginning of the pilot, a guy walks up to the bench where Reddington is, welcomes him home, and leaves briefcase. Who is the guy? Why did HE haf to deliver the briefcase with all Reddington contacts?

1) The guy from the pilot episode is called "Newton Phillips" and he works for Red.
