This film possibly promotes the gay lifestyle?
I was shocked, shocked (!) by the underlying theme of passive homosexuality promoted in this Christian film.
None of the straight couples stay together. The hunky (Hercules!) professor and his GF break up, and his last conversation occurs while he's tenderly holding another man's hand. The protagonist, Josh, is dumped by his shrew of a GF, ends up taking a random (and naive) twink to the concert for which he'd purchased tickets as a romantic anniversary present, and then blows off the attentions of the pretty Muslim girl behind him. And the cold-hearted businessman breaks up w/HIS GF, and the next hing you know, he's literally banging another man, the professor! He slams into him w/his automobile- a clear sexually symbolic act. And then the two priests sharing a weekend visit- they spend the majority of their time together planning a romantic getaway and sitting small spaces where they just happen to be in VERY close physical proximity, gazing into each others' eyes, whispering sweet nothings to each other. 'God is good... and so is being gay?'.
