So it's the Pope lick Monsters fault the kid died.

I'm pretty new to the show and think it's quite entertaining, but that whole theory is ridiculous. Kids at that age will do stupid things. If that were the case I should have blamed the fact I had bad grades in high school I should have blamed it on that. I feel sympathy for the family for their loss but reality is still reality. Teenagers do stupid thing, and that's the plain truth!

I find even more ridiculous that the dead kid's sister (and their mother) not only believe that a supernatural monster drew her brother to his death, but that she would want to walk that bridge's dangerous train tracks herself to confront and understand the who & why's that took his life away.
Just like you wrote, teenagers do stupid things. They love to go have adventures in places that they are forbidden to go. It's human nature.
I find the show entertaining but moments like these make me groan. With the preponderance and ownership of video cameras & recording devices available nowadays, none of the people in shows like these (A HAUNTING included) have a recorder handy to be able to say: "Hey Monster! Look this way! Say Hello! I'm taping you! Gotcha!"

Description of the Pope Lick Monster: Weighs several tons, has one bright headlight in the middle of its "face" and the words "Norfolk Southern RR" emblazoned across its "chest". It makes a roaring / rumbling sound whith a call that sounds exactly like an air horn.

If it ain't broke, Obama will fix it until it is.

I was confused too. Then I checked out Wikipedia and apparently this monster has the power to hypnotise kids into climbing the structure and getting hit by the train. Allegedly.

But frankly you gotta take these shows with a grain of salt. Yeah I love anything that deals with the unknown but I have a feeling that some of the stories might be exaggerated for dramatic purposes. It all just mindless entertainment in the end.

That trestle is about a 10 minute drive from my house. Goat Man is also known to be a shapeshifter.

This segment was...uncomfortable to watch. It was abundantly clear this woman couldn't deal with the sudden and senseless death of her brother, and was obsessively trying to find a 'reason' it happened 'to' him.

Surprisingly, its actually easier for a of people to believe something like this to be able to believe death sometimes just happens.

And suddenly we went from watching accounts of monsters to watching this woman's inability to cope with her tragic loss.

Theres no possible way the producers didn't see exactly what was going on. This shouldn't have been aired. Hell the interview should have been cut off and a grief therapist called. Can you imagine how much stronger this womans delusions have gotten since being seemingly validated?

It wasn't even 'worth' it for their show, it was just super uncomfortable and really sad.
