Order of favorite Assassin's Creed games

Alright, since I have now played and finished Black Flag, it is time for me to update the order of my favorite AC games.
Here goes mine:
Assassin's Creed II
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed III
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Assassin's Creed

Fear not the darkness, but welcome its embrace.

Assassin's Creed II
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed I
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Assassin's Creed: Black Flag
Assassin's Creed: III

Can't stand Connor's lack of personality and the horrible flow of the story line... I'd rather have story/personality over visuals any day. Hence why I still believe Ocarina on N64 is still one of the best games ever created.

For me it goes in this order.

AC
AC II
AC IV
AC III
AC BH
AC Rev.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Assassin's Creed III
Assassin's Creed: Revelations

Sadly, I began with III and haven't even played the first one yet. To me, II and Brotherhood have the best storylines and settings. We spent our honeymoon in Florence so it was something special to me to see it again, depicted during the Renaissance, with such brilliant graphics. Venice and Rome were an added bonus.

I loved that III was set in America during the Revolutionary period but the story could've used some improvement. I agree that Connor's idealistic personality needed tweaking. I loved the setting, the hunting, crafting, trading, naval and homestead aspect of it. I thought the combat aspect was greatly improved over previous versions.

I reckon every young boy has a 'thing' for pirates and I am no different. So IV is a lot of fun for me for that aspect alone. Although I'm only at about 17% synch.

All that said, I am not really what one could consider a "gamer" but I have played quite a few over the last 30 or so years and thoroughly enjoyed several. Assassin's Creed has been by far one of the most fun.

I'm going with something completely different to everyone: (also counting non major releases)
Assassin's Creed III
Assassin's Creed: Revelations
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Assassin's Creed 2
Assassin's Creed III: Liberation
Assassin's Creed
Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines

Assassin's Creed II
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Assassin's Creed III
Assassin's Creed: Revelations

I consider them all very close in quality except for Revelations which is by far the worst and AC2 which is by far the best.

I have only just started playing AC:IV but here's my list anyway:

Assassin's Creed Revelations
Assassin's Creed
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
Assassin's Creed II
Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag
Assassin's Creed III

I don't know why but these last two AC games have felt more like a chore to play instead of the last 5 games where it was genuinely fun to play. I'll still complete them both (Yes, I have just let AC:III sit on my shelf for over a year since I last played it) but nothing about the gameplay screams "fun" to me.

"I have always valued my lifelessness."
