Brilliant observation, bucko. Got any other intrepid insights?

.. I am, in a word, terse.

i dont think the prices are fake

would any one pay the prices of what they do

i think this is a way for storage companys to promote and entice people to spend big and go broke

i have been to one auction

and bought one locker for 5 dollars and cost me 200 in fuel to get it all home
it was nothing but old lawn mover ( 75 push mower and 5 riding ones )
some boxes of random parts and a few good motors that i was able to use on some items that need new motors i had at home
scraped the rest didnt make much money but the parts and misc things i used so it was fun

the other lockers where nothing but old furniture and out dated crap household crap that would take to long to turn around

seems like a waste to me

havent been to another one since

now farm auctions are better
as i have been to a bunch of them and buy tools and things for my ranch
but you have to know prices of stuff and know when to stop bidding

the best auction i went to because they listed a meat band saw
that was how it was listed

i have been wanting one really bad
and i know the prices of commercial ones new and used go for around 1000 and up and i even looked up the cheap ones that were on northern tool or harbor freight i think the were less than 500 bucks, been a while

well got there and saw it
it was a use harbor freight one, been used a lot
i thought that i could get it for 100 buck well in the end i didnt even get a bid in it sold to a guy younger than me and im 35 he was mid 20's or so with a fliping iphone, he was looking stuff up on line the whole day and bidding with what he found out did pretty good on some things and over paid on crap from harbor freight, crap i wouldnt buy
well the saw went for a total of 1500 even
talked to him after words and he showed me a commerical one that was all stainless for 2500 and said ill make profit
i couldnt stop laughing at him and told him that it was a harbor freight one worth 500 bucks new
even showed him on line and the pic was the exact same and same model number
ohh he was pissed
but im sure the owner ( who was selling out ) enjoyed his profit

Not only that, but in an auction - you'll never be able to get anything for a nice price.. Save some cheap chit.. As there'll always be a person there to insure that the house gets their nice chunk, meh. (a/k/a Dave Hester, on a good day. :))
