So, no one is going to say the Z-word? Spoiler

I expected to find a slew of people either hating or liking this movie and amidst all this hate and love, there would be that one guy who would talk about the ending. Of course, I did read a few people who spoke about the ending and the closest someone came to acknowledging it was "The Possession"

Now, this is true. The Operator does possess people in this movie. Specifically, the Dad and Milo. However, there was one notable difference in the final possession than all the others.

Milo was dead.

Dead.

Bereft of life. Cease to be. He is an ex-Milo.

And still the Operator managed to possess him. This is new territory for the Marble Hornets series and I have to shake my head in dismay. So now, we got Zombies.

True, this wasn't your typical Zombie. I bite you, you become infected, die, and then turn into a Zombie. No, we got the classic zombie, or more descriptively put, a flesh golem. So, on the one hand bravo. On the other, meh. Zombies are kind of already all over the place. And I will admit, seeing a marionetted flesh golem being animated with the Operator (finally giving some meaning to his name since he quite literally acts as a puppetmaster) was kind of creepy. For about 10 seconds.

I think the ending made it too easy, making Milo try to sacrifice himself, or the Operator killing him, so that he could possess and kill the others. It would've been better if Milo was possessed while he was still alive and was made to kill his friends.

Heck, even having the Operators proxies jump them in the cabin and murder them would've been a better ending.

Other than that all I got to say is kudos to the Marble Hornet's team for casting Doug Jones. I would overuse him too if I had that guy on the set and I felt his appearances were subtle enough to not make a big deal out of things.

Other than that, I liked the movie. The ending just sucked. But endings are always a pain in the ass.
