Why the name change?
Why are they calling Slenderman "The Operator?"
Are they trying to duck a creative commons license or something?
"Slender Man" is just the colloquial name for the character, almost any game or movie that uses the character avoid calling him Slender Man. Even the original creepy pasta the character is from doesn't use it.
