Wow, Milo had quite the house

Didn't really look like the type of house a guy like Milo would live in with the curtains and perfectly appointed kitchen and decor.

I sort of agree, except the upstairs felt entirely accurate for him, the main floor, however, did not.

Yeah took me right out of the movie because i kept saying to myself no way this kind of guy would live by himself in such a big ass house

Even just the utilities, upkeep, and taxes on a place that size (did you see that yard?!) would be pretty high. Small town news cameramen must be ROLLING in the dough!

I got the impression that it was his parents home, or grandparents - and he inherrited it when they died. Heck, property is probably bought and paid for and the taxes alone probably wouldn't be that bad.

Also, if you look closely, you can see that it's an older house. The kitchen equipment was dated, the doors needed paint, etc. Plus we have no idea what sort of neighborhood its in. He could have rented a older house in a dodgy neighborhood and fixed up the downstairs a bit. Maybe he likes having some extra space and a yard for his dog to run around in.

Not to mention the rather large lot it was on.
