Cannes 2014 Palme d'Or goes to 'Two Days, One Night'
They're gonna win of course and I can't wait to see their next masterpiece. They're the kings of social realism. I'm probably gonna cry a lot, as I always do when I watch their movies.

shareIf the Dardenne Brothers win the Palme d'Or, Marion won't be able to win Best Actress. I know that the Palme d'Or for the 2013 winner, "La Vie d'Adele," was awarded to the director and the two lead actresses; but I don't think Cannes wants to make that practice a habit.
shareI don't want to see Marion snubbed again at Cannes!
shareIt is looking very likely. Here is a chart for the review ratings

Dardenne's are leading the pack with 4.0
It all depends on the jury. Jane Campion told them to ignore reviews and who has won or not won in previous years. It is fairer. It looks like those rules won't effect Marion because she has given probably the most raved about performance by an actress.
Please note that Xavier Dolan's Mommy has not been charted yet and It did receive outstanding reviews, as did the actresses.
It didn't happen! not even Marion won the best actress prize and her performance is the most praised of the festival!
