Confirms Marion's position as THE best of her generation

Marion Cotillard's 'performance' in this film was nothing short of astonishing. I have seldom seen a performance where I could not once, not one single moment, see the actor acting. She had to go to some deep, extreme emotions at the drop of a hat and she did them flawlessly. From her walk to her eyes - she told an entire story and not for ONE moment did I not believe her.

After her tour de force in La Vie En Rose and Ruse and Bone, this performance just confirms that she is THE best actress of her generation. I adore Cate Blanchett, Winslet and Linney - but none of them have been able to truly be as raw and 'unshowy' as Marion is in this. Marvellous and will go down as a GREAT.

I agree. Just saw this tonight, and she was magnificent.
