Panel this, panel that, panel panel panel TIME FOR PANEL!

Most annoying part of the show.

Why do you think you can panel on the panel, you piece of panel?

reply

Panel is funny, but Panel takes up too much of the show and is too long.

reply

I'm with you OP. Like, seriously, Anthony, STFU. We get it.

reply

It's like that "bell of the ball" bit from the first show. I really don't understand why his writers and producers have him repeat the same stuff within a single bit or from show to show ("another perfect show" nine times this season) when there's clearly no comic effect to it.

reply

Panel is some great panel, panel. Get some better sense of panel, you son of a panel.

Panel is the best part. Lots of funny comedians riffing off of each other. And Defend your tweet is funny too.

reply

The panel/defend your tweet is funny, just the repeating of "Panel, panel, pnael" is annoying as sin.

**** JAY LENO....GO COCO!!!!!!!!!!

That's probably why he does it.

I am the videogame word made flesh.

I watched the season 2 premiere because I like Norton and Amy Schumer, but the panel is obviously scripted. It would be better if they could just riff on topics instead of going with prepared material. I listen to O&A and Norton is genius when he's speaking off the cuff.

reply

The show is scripted, but not the panel part. They're actually riffing. I went to the taping last week :o) I haven't seen the premiere yet, I wonder how much was cut...

reply

I don't know, it looked scripted to me. I'm sure they each wrote their own material but it looked like prepared material. Maybe not down to the exact words, but the set-ups and flow seemed preconceived. That's the only episode I've ever seen so I'm only judging that one panel.

reply

It's a regular Panalpalooza!

reply

The whole show seems scripted for the most part. The jokes are predictable and fall flat quite often in my opinion. He should have stuck to stand up because he is much better there...especially in a roast setting.

reply

It might be a tad scripted but they do edit the show and cut things out so that it'll flow better. That's why it seems so scripted.
