A little Gem

Saw this at it's 'World Premiere' at the London Film Festival followed
by a Q&A. It is a little gem of a film, mostly improvised, of a young
girl (Wonderful Georgia Maguire as Becky) living her normal life in a
normal English Town (Reading!)and making romantic mistakes. What was so
refreshing was that it showed an England and a life that the audience
knew and could relate to and a cast that reflected current English
Society in 2013 in a way that Richard Curtis will never master. It
seemed to be a real labour of love for cast & crew and I hope it has a
further life.

Wonderful movie: true, honest, delicate, tender, fragile...
