That actress is 51 years old!! I really wanted Linda Purl to push her down the staircase. I like the Jaime and Roy storyline but the old fogies is not appealing.
That is the age that pregnancies can happen by mistake. Women at that age may believe they are postmenopausal and stop with birth control. Only to become pregnant and find that they were only perimenapausal. It takes one to two years of no menstruation whatsoever to be postmenopausal. Some woman go 6 months with no period and think "that's it I'm through menapause." Then it's Oops..Surprise!
shareLots of pregnancies happen by mistake at any age, and for women in their 50s sometimes their eggs all get released at like the same time (cuz their body wants to get rid of them cuz it knows she is too dang old to have a baby). But the likliehood of getting pregnant at that age is pretty low, and it actually made me laugh it just seemed so unlikely
shareI am not big on the age thing but I did feel like this was a bit unrealistic. It feels like a plot devise for me. I understand that Dec and Babs needed to have an issue and Lindsey is it. I just don't think these two people who have been having affairs on each other since the start of the marriage would actually have an oops moment and get Lindsey pregnant. I just find it hard to believe and wonder if they will bringing Shelby into the fold on this.

Have they ever established exactly how old Lindsey is? I know the actress is actually 51, but she can pass for younger. My Aunt had a surprise baby at 47. so it's not that much of an impossibility. The probability of the child having health issues is huge. Older people have a sex life too.
shareI'm not debating the fact that 40+ women are allowed to have babies. My mom was 41 yrs old when I was born. I just think this was a poor judgement to put into this story. Of course I know there was sex involved. Hello... it's an affair.
Dynasty kept all their affairs "in check" if you know what I mean. ;) At least of little bit that I followed.
What would be more interesting is that Lee Ann gets pregnant. Hmm... who would the papa be?
