I really like this show. The writing and story ideas are a bit weak, but the actors look amazing and the sets and costumes as well. But the editing always feels weirdly cut and strange. I'm just wondering why. Is it a foreign editing company or something?

I think the third series has been a bit choppy in terms of screentime devoted to the Musketeers themselves but otherwise, it seems fine to me.
I am watching the show being broadcast in Japan. I am guessing the show is cut short. The editing really feels rushed and cut short to me.
I did not think about the fact they might reedit the show for foreign audiences, but I think that is what is happening. There are just a ton of weird cuts. But I still enjoy the show.
I'm watching the BBC (55min) full versions on Hulu and I thought editing was cut short in all 3 seasons. Nothing too drastic, but a few times I kept rewinding thinking my WIFI was acting up.
