Hi all!
I'm on season 3 and I've really enjoyed the series so far. What I've found in this show is likable cast-from the musketeers to the king and queen, enough romance to keep me invested and some good writing. Also Ilove the musketeers clothing. I'm not a fan of Game of Throned and really, I'm not that much of a fan of the constant "shocking moments" shows like that aim for. I enjoyed this show for it's naivité and predictability - whatever happens the "heroes will save the day". There's something comforting about that cpncept that I've come to enjoy more now that I'm getting older. Originality like in GoT and Walking dead, where likable characters frequently gets killed off when you least expect it is not for me. I want that sense of predictability that this show has.

So, are there any other shows you can recommend me go watch when I've finished this?

The show was amazing and there's nothing like it out there.

I woukd say to check Merlin out as quite similar.
Although the premise is not the same, I would check out White Collar. Hard not to like the cast (and it has that predictability factor you mentioned)

Try Da Vinci's Demons.

I've only watched 1 episode of The Musketeers, but so far I've found Da Vinci's Demons much better.

You've only seen one episode. Seems weird you could have an informed decision based on one episode. You should keep going. The Musketeer Series was outstanding (most especially Seasons One and two).

We just finished the series. Loved the story, the action, sets, costuming, characters. I, too, like the predictability, and it is not so over-the-top or graphic. I liked Poldark as well, you might check that one out. This is an oldie, but I just found the A&E series, Horatio Hornblower, on dvd. Going to watch that one again. I will check out Merlin, which was also a suggestion.
