Episode 6.

Now that the series is 6 episodes deep it's really started to find its feet. The actors are really making the characters feel real and not impersonation of the original. The newest episode really exemplifies this in my opinion. I've heard that they plan to do only 13 episodes with a two part finale ending the 5 year mission which I find wonderful. It'll be such a nice addition to the Star Trek culture and immense enjoyment for fans. Thank you Vic, and the Star Trek continues cast and crew.

Agreed. They really have got the feel of original Trek.

I don't know. This episode started out well enough, but just seemed to get more fanfic-ish as it went. As I've said all along with this show, the scripts just aren't all that great, which is a shame because everything else about the show (irrespective of my opinion about McKenna) is great.

20 Fake CJs and 2 CowboyWizards Ignored (and counting)

both 5 and 6 the storys were lacking.
That would be ok if they could do more than 1 or 2 eps a year.

But still they are the best at recreating the show.

This series is a lot of fun and I enjoy it for what it is, a pretty faithful fan production. It must be fun to work on it. I would love to see them up their game though. These last two episodes have slipped in quality scriptwise. The Look is great but the feel is off with regard to TOS.

After episode 2, I've become very happy with the series and episode 6 did not disappoint (a step above #5).

As for the complaints with the scripts, I have two thoughts;
1. Limited $ means limits in what the series can do. No extensive sets off the ship for instance on planets or other ships.
(Known in the industry as a bottle episode.)
Considering that, I think the writers overall have done well.
2. There were many weak scripts in TOS, especially in season 3. Some of the worst of those are now avoided by me.
ST Continues may not be at the highest level of TOS but it is also thankfully not at the lowest imo.

Again, episode #6 was in classic Trek style. Very enjoyable and for a fan production? Very well done.

it is just in my opinion - imo - 🌈

After seeing the most recent entry, Episode 7: “Embracing The Winds,” I think they should rename the series Social Justice Warriors in Space. I enjoyed their first few episodes, delighted by how much it reminded me of the original show. But that nostalgia started to wane as several of the episodes began to take a rather preachy stance. Don't get me wrong. The original Star Trek took on controversial topics of the day, but they kept a good balance between entertainment and moralizing. The latest entry from Star Trek Continues is as subtle as a brick being smashed against one's head.

I was impressed with Sulu, he's getting the character down.
