Underrated

I must say I had eons more fun playing this than Gears 3. The addition of the declassified version of each level made the game much sportier than what I'm used to. So it's not some epic story, but neither was the first game and it's still the funnest of the series. The whole Lambent storyline of the third game was kind of silly and felt more like rinse & repeat every level, to where playing some levels with just pistols or having a certain amount of time to complete a section added to the story. It might not have been epic and grand like the third, but it made it's point rather than just relying more action and a wider scope. The arcade style was a blessing to a series that forgot what made it fun in the game.
