So, I just finished the game. How did Karn survive? It seems like the gears didn't even have a reaction to the fact he survived.

.............Karn did not survive at the end of GOW:J, Loomis kills him and we see that after he says "war is cruelty".

"Always two there are , a master and an apprentice"

I'm sorry, I didn't explain... I mean, Karn had a giant bomb go off in his face midway through the game. There was no explanation (or reaction) on how he survived the blast.
