Exactly. And that is not O.K.. The more they keep from him the more mad he will be. You can't keep a child from everything. My parents tried that when my grandfather died. They wanted me to focus on school and not be worried so they kept it from me as long as they could but they finally told me it and I was pissed at them keeping it from me. They thought they were protecting me like Hannah thinks but they aren't. Hannah has good intentions but it will back fire. I got over it but it still stinks. Little Q ain't death and can't be shielded from it forever. Benny was kinda mean to him when he was looking for the keys too. I thought it was beyond unrealistic that they would reveal his name without contacting the next of kin first. They haven't even told Quita. Of course she basically knows but still. Little Q ain't no fool like his uncle. That's for sure.
shareI agree I wish Hannah would sit Q down and explain to Q what is going on. Little Q is smart he is not dumb by a long shot, I know Hannah is trying to protect him and don't want him to hear about his mom like that, but Q deserve the right to know what is going on.
