Now that's how to end a show!

a one off short story did this idea Justice. The BBC version was just a bit to serious, and this version had a great mix(ology - HA) of characters and humor. It was a refreshing show to watch, had awesome writing and the cast really seemed to have great chemistry.

Not sad that it is gone, but I will be wondering what happens afterwards.

I'm happy with the way things ended for the most part. SO happy maya and Tom ended up together!!

I am sad it's over :(

reply

I'm also really happy that Maya finally put her heart on the line

The ending was great.

There was a BBC version of this show? Was it under the same name or something else? Just curious.

It's too bad that they had to wait until the finale to have their best show of the season. I don't think they could have had a 2nd season unless they started getting into the lives of the characters away from the bar scene altogether or have a completely new cast for a 2nd season.

I am glad Tom and Maya finally consumated their relationship. I really didn't like her until this last episode.

reply

Yeah the season ended perfectly.
I personally enjoyed every ep of the season.
The first 2 eps were LOL.
I hope there's a new season with new characters.
Maybe sprinkle in some of this season's character throughout the new season.

How long does 'dibs' last?

it ended almost perfectly :) in the beginning I could not stand Bruce but by the end of the series he was one of my fave characters and i'm glad they put him and Jessica together even if they said they were "just friends". now I can think their friendship led to much more!

I don't watch the show, however I caught the last 60 seconds of the episode with the pig in the bed. What is the name of that girl?

Her name was Fab.

So what was the BBC version of the show called?

reply

Coupling was a BBC series that was fairly close to this show, definitely recommend a watch.

reply

Coupling was pretty much nothing like this show. I loved them both, but they are certainly not the same except in that they were both hilarious and had enjoyable characters.

If you had used proper grammar, I wouldn't have had to correct you.
