I don't know anything about the novel, but this was a poorly made film in almost every aspect.

No doubt it will get some run as a chick flick.

I don't know about it being the worst overrated movie I've ever seen, but it sure was a sack of $hit. Sappy, dripping, boring as hell. I gave it a 5 because I think Britt Robertson was very good in it, or I would have given it a 3.

I'm sure there are many bleeding hearts out there that love this crapola.

This is the typical nicholas sparks story but I don't know why I cry every time I watch his film. If you watch it the second or third times it will be boring and didn't make me cry anymore. I never read his books, though.

It's 5 for you? I care as much about that as you care about my review. To each their own.

Couldn't agree more with you, arch-repeated story, full of cliches.... Booooooring.

I didn't care about the couple staying together or not, I just wanted them to decide so the movie could end. It was nothing special, even the old mans story was predictable. It was sweet, but I notice in everyone of these movies, there is always the factor of a couple breaking up or staying together.

Then if they do, its forever and happily ever after. The notebook they die together. In this they stay together until decrepit and one of them dies.

A walk to remember was the only movie that was more realistic in the sense that you can find happiness and love with and when you least expect it, but it happens even if it's for a short period of time.
