I'm guessing they were, it got on my nerves watching it.

Maybe I missed a particular scene where it looked cgi, but I thought it was real with stunt actors. The scenes where Luke gets kicked in the online video though, yeah maybe that was cgi

Nope, I think they were all real with stunt riders.

None of the bulls appeared CGI to me. All stunt riders as well as some real rodeo footage thrown in. CGI rodeo scenes would have been much more expensive to make.
