I'm currently watching this movie and I think the childrens' acting are on point.

I laughed at just about everything the children said. They were easily the most entertaining of the movie.

I thought it was a bit over the top. Like they were intentionally making them say overly ridiculous things which they thought children would say, that weren't quite natural. The delivery was good because kids but it seemed a bit off. I compare to Outnumbered which was similar but just came across as more natural/realistic (possibly because more ad-libbed?(

I also thought the dialogue was often contrived and unnatural but the kids themselves made up for all of that. I just found them to be utterly delightful, despite having to say some rather ridiculous things. Especially the youngest with her stone collection. Just the cutest!!
