Bad things do not happen in Norway

Life is too good, too ideal there, except for the occasional nutcase who acts like a typical right-wing American. That is very infrequent in a progressive place like Norway.

reply

I know, our country is flawless. ;)

reply

I would reply with a smart ass right wing America remark, but I don't think about Norway much....at all, really.

It's good to be an American. Right or left.

reply

Norway like the other Scandinavian countries is usually in the top 10 lists re: safe..cool..social welfare..child welfare..health cafe..education..etc etc
AND HEY ...maybe too much is revealed in the trailer me thinks perhaps!

reply

Don't believe everything you see in the news.

reply

Yes. Do NOT believe what you hear on Fox News and right-wing radio. How socialism is EVIL and that living in Europe is awful and how your child can't grow up to be a millionaire there. Instead, it's much better to be one step away from bankruptcy due to a medical catastrophe, better to live in a country where part-time jobs rule because health insurance comes from your employer, who does not want to pay it. That having a week of vacation per year is much better than a month per year. That being in debt for the rest of your life due to student debt is better than having taxpayer-funded tuition. Yes, believe that a failed capitalistic economy that benefits only less than 1% of the population is actually a success for you and your family, Mr and Mrs Working Poor and Struggling Middle-class. Yeah, believe Fox News, whose audience is the very definition of the stupid American voter.

reply

King oh Fuh I love this post and I actually am an American.

reply

Well, I meant every American EXCEPT you, of course. Why do Americans want unnecessary pain over pleasure, for themselves and their children? It is amazing but this kind of stupid you just can't fix, I guess.

I love the colors & cool weather of fall; pumpkins, Halloween, s**t like that.

reply

IMO enough people in American society are not taught to be critical thinkers. They all just go along with the status quo and don't think of how to make things better. That is how we keep congress in something like a 90% return rate but we don't have a balanced budget and have a huge national deft etc etc

reply

An informed, educated, and healthy citizenry is dangerous to those seeking power.
