Great show

My kids love it, and so do I. I used to read Peter Rabbit's adventures when I was growing up in the 1970s. What's great about it is the fact that now we can see him on TV, too, instead of having to read the books all the time. The plot of the show isn't very different from the book. Peter Rabbit and his little friends dig under the fence to raid food from the neighbors' gardens. They get in a bunch of trouble, but everything's all right in the end. We like this show very much.

Yay, I'm the first poster! In your face!

My kids love it too, and it's got them reading the books and watching the BBC adaptations with Niamh Cusack. It's a truly impressive little show.

The Beatrix Potter stories are awesome! I have a few of my old, original copies of the small books. Beautiful illustrations; just adorable. I was surprised to see this on Nick, but good on them for doing a show based on such great classic tales. Although I picture the ultimate animation form to do the books justice as being stop-motion (just like the "Wind in the Willows" with puppets and real or realistic elements forming the miniature sets)...I doubt they have the budget or time to produce such a series. What I saw looked close enough to the proper style that I immediately recognized it.

I was watching this with my kid last week and realized that Peter is dangerous, impulsive, and selfish. They are always borrowing things, not listening to directions, breaking those things while they get into danger, then no repercussions for their actions. The kids may enjoy when they don't know what's going on, but Peter Rabbit is the little $hi+ kid that good kids should stay away from
