Hated the first 3 episodes but love it now.

I was one that nearly checked out of the show in the first few episodes but the show started to get interesting in the 4th episode and got better each week.

I hope the writers treat the final as a mini series and tie everything up. Sure don't want to see cliff hangers that we will never find answers.

I blame some of the low ratings on 2 things:

1. Writers that didn't do their job on the first 3 episodes. Too many mistakes, i.e. cops that go in the front to apprehend a suspect but don't cover the other exits, etc.
2. Lack of advertising on the networks part before the series started.

Now, I would really like to see a 2nd season but by the ratings not sure if that will ever happen.

Here's only hoping.

Me too. I saw the free episode just to past time in the airplane and I thought this show was awful. It's gotten way better. And now with the DA - who even knew about Ryan?!!?! What!??!! Good stuff. I hope this show survives to another season.

I was really iffy about watching more after the Pilot ep, the absurdly destructive car chase scene in the first 20 minutes was actually a big turn-off.

By ep 4 it started to get better, and ep 7 hit it right out of the park. This time they did an excellent extended chase scene and the Daniel abduction dialog was first rate. Every ep that followed has had even more wow factor.

I agree, the weakness of ep 1-3 has doomed the show by killing the interest in it. (I'd like to see it back, though. Maybe it can come back like Southland on another network.)
