SMH... Anothe show set in LA that depicts black gangs as..

Weak, comedic, idiotic, etc. Oh and the leader is a closet case... SMH...

And the Mexicans as organized, vicious and intimidating... Of course they're just killing the blacks with no repercussions or worries. HOllywood always does this... IN reality the black gangs (like the rolling 60's) in LA are some of the most vicious and violent and have ran Mexican gangs out of certain areas, despite the fact that they are outnumbered.

The worst part is the black gangs look like they straight out of the 90's... gang bangers don't look like that... wearing beanies and button up shirts.

This is why The Wire is the standard for urban crime dramas.. They are the only ones to accurately depict urban personalities without resorting to caricatures.

To be fair, the Los Angelicos are going to be displayed more prominently due to the lead character's involvement with them. So the viewers will naturally be more privy to the inner workings of the Los Angelicos gang including the head and his top generals. We don't know much about the Lords yet, expect for J-Dub's sexual preference LOL. The Lord guys who were gunned down were probably low level expandable foot soldiers and nothing more.

I could be wrong, but J-Dub (the fat gay banger) is not the Lord's leader. We haven't been introduced to Levar yet, who I think is the leader. Perhaps in the coming episodes we'll get a glimpse into the Lord's organization and how they handle the retribution coming their way. Maybe it will be revealed they are as organized, vicious and intimidating as the Los Angelicos, which I'm sure they are.

lol another insecure black guy...everyone knows black people are violent already, no need to show black gangs as even more violent and intimidating.

Insecure.. tell your b-tch to come over my way. I'll show you insecure. LOL

No, but seriously... I'm just tired of Hollywood depicting California/LA black folks as weak. It's not about glorifying black gangs or anything.I just want to see a more objective realistic approach to LA gangs than what's been shown in this show and movies like End of Watch...

Black gangs are one of the most unorganized and useless gangs there are today.

False.. look up Big U, Rolling 60's Crips or The Bounty Hunter bloods. both are hugely organized.. Suge Knight is Boutny Hunter and he had ties to Italian mafiosos... BTW Rolling 60's is one of the largest black gangs in the COUNTRY...

These crips and vice lords have no discipline, there are no leaders keeping them in line.

LOL.. The Crips are an Cali/LA gang you fool, the vice lords are a Chicago/midwest gang... neither have anything to do with each other. There are hundreds, maybe even thousands of crips and vice lord sets in each city.. which gang are you talking about specifically? And yes they do have leaders and are much more organized than you want to believe...

They have no impact on the criminal world and just do nonsense why the Mexicans are making billions and cartel leaders are making the Forbes list.

You CLEARLY don't know WTF you're talking about. The Flenory Brothers/BMF (Black Mafia Family) were the biggest cocaine/heroin distributor in the country for years... and again, they had direct ties with the cartels and were allied with numerous black gangs like the Rolling 60's...

Black gangs DO kill each other at a huge rate.. but so do Mexican gangs. The people you're talking about making Forbes list... arn't even American.. They're from Juarez and arn't apart of any of the Mexican American gangs... they just use them to push their 'work" in the US.. the same way they use the black gangs...
