Wonderfully done film !

Saw this last night in San Francisco at the 19th Berlin & Beyond Film Festival. Have to say that it totally grabbed me in a way that I did not anticipate. Story is about a tightly knit German SWAT team who end up unraveling through a chain of events and misunderstandings. As one reviewer noted...some good guys get hurt, some bad guys get away, etc. just as in real life. The film is so fast-paced and has a huge ensemble cast, that at first I had some trouble following who was who & whether they were the "good guys" or not and that was what held me captivated throughout this film. Taut from beginning to end, it never let up in its intensity

The film never felt fake or contrived; just as in real life, sometimes good guys can act very badly, just as bad guys can show their good side. Don't want to give away any more, but highly recommend this film. All of the cast is excellent, so I really can't rave over one specific actor, because they truly worked as an ensemble, which made the film as wonderful as it was. Ronald Zerhfeld was one of the actors I was a bit familiar with, having seen him as the romantic lead in "Barbara", from 2012, with Nina Hoss.

Kudos to director Philipp Leinemann; I believe this is only his 2nd major effort & he has done extremely well; look forward to seeing more from him.

You've done some bad things, sweetie.
