That's the impression I got, it made me feel very uneasy.

I think it was Hugo that instructed the others to let her leave. Had he (or whoever) not done so, the others would have certainly gone much further. Rape was a real possibility to my mind.

Make her give them all a blow job. Except for the gay one (Hugo?). Especially since the 'prozzer' was allowed to leave. (I too felt a bit uneasy) At one point it seemed like any female was to be fair game for the riot club.

Not having seen the play, I was actually surprised that Lauren was only the one who was harmed at all (though I was grateful that it didn't go further) and that both Charlie and Rachel escaped unscathed.

I had that feeling too, and it was horrible. I genuinely feared for the young waitress.

I have covered this in other posts but I am willing to raise the stakes.

You are not viewing the movie, you are mirroring your own personal anxieties.

I am not saying Scherfig didn't intend this test for the viewers, I think she actually did. Which is why it's brilliant. The group consisted of boys of very different morals and they would never touch another club members girlfriend. Like they said. And they meant it.

He straight up assaults, restrains, and forces a physical/sexual/ intimate act on her. They also try to get one of the girlfriends to kiss them all.

Not sure as to what reality you're in but a group of drunk men encircling, restraining, and forcing intimate/ physical contact (especially since he actually penetrates her mouth with his tongue as she attempts to protest) would lead a person to intervene on a situation that would logically lead to rape and had already crossed into assault and molestation.

This movie was not made for you, but it was made to reveal you.
