What went wrong with the series

One of the problems was Alan Grier, either don't have him acting on the show or don't let him talk too much because he's an annoyance as he goes on an' on about his partner or some stupid thing in his life.

I think it was to do with the protagonist not being very likeable but coming off as an anti-hero.

Following the concept of the movie too closely. They should have just gone with how the movie ended as the show's concept. She's now the student councilor. She could still stay true to the character being bitchy and selfish, but just with the other teachers. It's pretty much how the show ended up, about the teachers. At least with the few episodes I have watched. It would also get rid of her rich friends and wanting a rich single father. That was the least funny thing on the show.

I think the two weak parts were the lead and the Principal. They both stunk. She in my opinion had no appeal, and he was very annoying. I think they dragged the show down but I thought everyone else was fine.
