my mouth goes around it pretty well, actually, pronounciation wise..Dutch is probably more gutteral than German is...try Hebrew/Arabic or even 90% *beep* Hawaiian street names ..
(except Kuhio and ala Moana...those I handled)
Also eigentlich ist Deutsch eine recht schöne Sprache, wenn denn die Sprachmelodie stimmt. Aber in vielen Hollywood-Filmen, in denen "zee Germans" pauschal die Bösen sind, wird halt gerne militärisch, zackig, und meist mit einem harsch bellenden Unterton gesprochen, um die Bösen noch einen Tick böser zu machen.

I do understand and didn't need to translate it. My German is terrible, but German and English scan together very well. However, I will say that High German is always harsh. My family speaks Swabian dialect (Donauswabian) and it does sound nice. I wish I'd learned it properly. Modern German is pretty smooth.
