Why is Adam still in HS?

Did he get held back? Are they going to ignore season 8 cause pops died?

I think so, he has been in HS for over 5 years now.

Not really, the show went on way too long. It should have ended last season but as always the network got greedy for another season and now its going to fail hard.

Adam and his friends are concerned about Hell Week as new incoming freshmen are hazed by the seniors class. Adam gains respect after body slamming his brother during a school graduation ritual. Meanwhile, Evelyn Silver and her class try to figure out what to put in the schools time capsule.

Adam's graduation day is approaching and everyone is ready -- except for Beverly, who is not coping well with the idea of an empty nest; with Geoff's encouragement, Erica decides to try out as a one-time backup singer replacement.

Adam was a freshman in Season 4 and a Senior in Season 9. that means he was in HS for 6 years.

They need to update his character age…..those shirts he wears to try and look younger than he is….he’s got manly hairy arms if you look closely. Need to let him be a true college age freshman. But I think all the actors are great in this and quick dialogue is still hilarious. Show is fine without the dad since they have Judd Hirsch now.
