Felt bad how Howie towards the end?

Somewhere in the early or middle part of this he talks about having to fall back into the background and this time around he wanted to be more of the leading vocalist, and step forward.

Then later when Nick and Brian are going back and forth and Nick says they're like Pippen and Jordan. Wonder what Howie was thinking. Who am I? BJ Armstrong?

that got to me too. he has taken a lot for the team, all of them are unbelievable team players.
but - no need to worry about Howie. him and Nick are great friends, they even hang out privately as can be seen in one of the live streams they did for a past cruise.
when Nick used the Pippen and Jordan comparison, he was talking about the past. that relationship is no more and hasn't been that strong for years, in fact it started to fade when Brian met his wife, and that was in 97. I think it was Kevin, but am not sure, who said Brian grew up and it became all about him and his girlfriend, and Nick was left aside. So Nick's mainly talking about the voice.

and also, in a recent soundcheck party Howie revealed, not being in the documentary as much was by choice. so he's not being left out, but sometimes chooses so, and if he wants to he will step forward as can be heard on the last album.
