The rapture is not biblical. Totally taken out of context. Paul himself even had to write a second letter to clear up the Thessalonians confusion on the timing. He told them not to be confused or shaken in mind in that the day was at hand. (meaning in it wasn't) He goes on to say with emphasis that the day "shall not happen" until the a great falling away (apostasy in the Greek) and the man of sin was revealed. (2nd Thessalonians).
Christ comes at the last trump, the trump of God and Satan and his will be here at the 6th. People will wonder after him because he will play the role of messiah. Revelation says he looked like the lamb (Christ) but spoke as the dragon. That's why Christ teaches he comes at an hour most do not expect. People will think he's already here. Peace, safety, then bam destruction. It's time to really get into God's word.
I believed in the rapture until about 13 years ago. That's what I was "taught" to believe by men but it's not backed up in God's word.
