scene that bothers me


when simon and quant were pitching their ads for ice, quant made an ad that appealed to all 3 judges(sidney, zach, andrew) and that made absolute sense. simon's ad on the other hand was so boring, bland and uncreative it just didn't make sense. everybody keeps saying how he is a legend of advertising, we see all his awards in his office and he is this creative guy who isn't afraid to try new and crazy things in his process of coming up with ideas and all he comes up with is letter n and a picture of ice? i mean i get it, subconsciously you are connecting the word nice with ice, it's not bad but come on, are we really supposed to believe that legend of advertising can't come up with anything better and more creative? 15-year old could have come up with that.

Really? I liked Simon's ad. The other had too much stuff going on. It was so busy it bored me.

In an environment were an ad is cluttered with many different ads, I think Simon's is better because it speaks more clearly. Where the other one did better after closer examination by Zach.
