The Crazy Ones is NOT dead yet - tiny chance at renewal

I don't want to give any false hope, but TCO might still have a tiny chance at renewal. Presumably, CBS is waiting for two new sitcoms to premiere after TCO's season one finale, one of them being Bad Teacher. CBS will take a final decision regarding TCO once these shows have premiered and fare in comparison to TCO.

Even if those shows were hits they're not gonna fill the fall schedule. Whatever happens to them isn't going to effect TCO's fate.

Yep, it's LONG over for the Crappy Ones. They renewed, what, 18 shows! And loads of new ones are coming, plus they have football now. The Crappy Ones just ain't dead, they dug up the corpse, pissed on it, then buried it face-down so they can see where they're going: tv HELL!

I read there is a slight chance it could be picked up by NBC or Fox. It is not doing well by CBS standards but is doing better than any comedy shows on those networks, and Fox produces it. Personally I have seen 2 eps and don't see it having much potential.

I hope it gets a second season.

Not every show starts out as a top show show. CBS needs to give it time.

NBC wanted to cancel Seinfeld at least two times but ended up leaving in the lineup and that turned out to be a pretty good call.

Please don't compare 'The Crazy Ones' to 'Seinfeld'.

reply

Yes, please don't compare - Seinfeld was SH*T

Exactly, Scandal didn't have super good ratings at first either. The show was only getting views in 6-7 millions until somewhere in season 2 and it blew up in season 3. They should give it at least another season, back to the 8:00 timeslot or right after TBBT, and promote the show better.

I hope it doesn't get canceled its a fantastic hilarious show w/such great talent; the cast is so amazing and fit so well together. If CBS doesn't want it I think FOX Network should pick it up - its so much better than the Mindy Project, can't believe this show has got picked up already. TCO is so much funnier than MP, I tried watching MP but it just wasn't my cup of tea. Please CBS if you don't want it I hope FOX sweeps it up and saves it. I want to see Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams (along w/the rest of the talented cast). Its a different show and CBS doesn't really advertise it much, if CBS showed more attention to the show like they do other tv shows on their network maybe they would've had a better shot. DON'T GIVE UP ON TCO, move it to another night, but please don't cancel it - so much potential for this show, give it another chance.

Doesn't get? It already HAS been, ages ago most likely! They renewed, what, 18 shows! And they have LOADS coming down the pipe! Plus football! No damn WAY is the Crappy Ones EVER coming back! Mom kicked their ASS!

friends with better lives isn't doing great and bad teacher has yet to premiere. it really depends on their comedy pilots and those two shows failing. i hope they see they have a good show that is different from their current lineup which is refreshing for CBS. it's the only comedy i watch on their network and if it's cancelled it could be the last.
