Very funny show, but lost in translation.

This show was filmed as if it were a movie. The shots, the pacing.....TV shows need to be produced for TV. Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens...all were successful because the pacing was slowed down to show character reactions (facial expressions, etc.), the timing was good in setting up a joke, characters did not rush their lines, the laugh track or "live audience" helped, and the soundtrack, whereby a distinct, brief musical note accentuated the comedy.
It wasn't Wiliams' fault this show ultimatey sucked. The lines were rushed,it was hard for the viewer to focus amid the inappropriate direction, and the continuity that cannned laughter and a familiar musical soundtrack provides was missing. Instead, we get an hour's worth of dialog crammed into 22 minutes. The viewer's senses were overloaded and it quickly became boring.Great cast, amaterish and inept production.
