Nope, you're not alone. I was completely bummed out when the show was canceled - and I still wake up with that damned "Sydney, You're So Fine" song stuck in my head sometimes - like today! David E. Kelley tends to amass amazing ensembles, pithy writers, and wrangling Williams was a pretty astounding feat considering he hadn't done weekly TV in 30 years and was literally losing his mind. Mork was my childhood hero, I'd already discovered the awesomeness of Hamish Linklater, and it took this role to finally make me like Sarah Michelle Gellar (whom I felt terrible for when Williams died). Wish The Crazy Ones had lasted longer, but at least we got a full season.
Assuming the canceling of the show had anything to do with his death is just appallingly simple thinking.
It wasn't until LONG after Robin died that information surfaced about his health. I didn't think it was out of the question to consider the show's cancellation a factor then, and I still don't now. If it had been renewed for another season, the odds of him killing himself might've been lessened. Regardless, it really sucks that there's a sort of (in the words of Mork) "
heavy sigh" connotation with Robin Williams' name now thanks to the way he exited this life.
