TV 'movie'?

FIRST TOPIC! WOOHOOO!
Is this going to be a TV movie or is it just a mistake??
I am so excited to see this pilot! I love both Jason and Alexis and it would be awesome to have her back on TV.
Please post any news in here!! I will do the same!

All I've heard is that it's planned to be a series. My advice though, watch the original version instead.

I'm excited to see both Alexis Bledel and Jason Ritter on TV again, and together at that.... I will definitely be tuning in to Friends and Family.

I read the who the writers were and it looks like it is based on an UK comedy called Gavin and Stacy...if Friends and Family is half as good as that then it can't go wrong!!!

Agreed about Alexis and Jason. AND both he and Kurt Fuller deserve a break with successful TV shows, moreso Kurt Fuller because at least Jason's done well with "Parenthood" (which actually Fuller was in a bit too) but still. "Better With You" was SUCH a good show with amazing talent and sorry for the pun, but it deserved WAY better treatment. Anyway, yeah. Very curious about this.

Yes, I loved, I still do the series of Joan of Arcadia and Gilmore Girls. On the Joan of Arcadia side, I [still] wish that series had been on longer than the two seasons it got. An incredible series and cast!

Of course, we all wanted that. Its cancellation was very anticlimactic and unfair and left us with a huge cliffhanger :( Oh, well...
