I can't believe Jason Ritter fans would want this show - where he plays a lead, gets a lot of screentime and that could potentially run for a few seasons - to fail just so he can go back to a show thats probably in its final season, on a very difficult timeslot and where he isn't even in every episode (and that makes him wear a ridiculous mustache!). And where the writers made his relationship fail like 5 times already.
Anyway, as Us&Them has already been picked up, its probably too late to wish for a fail. By the time this show starts to air, Parenthood will nearly be done filming (or the writers will be done with the scripts) - its not clear whether Jason would even be allowed to do another stint on Parenthood (which is on a different network).
Have you seen the long trailer for this new show? He looks great, his character seems to have a lot of fun and he and Alexis make a very cute couple. I bet most of his former Parenthood fans will be hooked on this within the first 3 episodes.

hahah well believe it aulty. it happened 2 years ago when his show "the event" was cancelled after the first season, and he came back the next year. that's why their relationship has failed a few times. it's probably not going to happen, but that's just what i want. plus i love his little moustache haha :). i have no idea what will happen, but neither do you. hopefully parenthood will last a few more seasons, regardless of your misguided calculations.
and i'm going to watch his new show for sure! i hope you do too.
