Just watched the pilot. It has a vibe that makes me think is a remake of foreign comedy, does anyone know if this is based on a some other show, maybe a british one?

When I read the premise I thought it sounded a bit like Gavin & Stacey: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0908454/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

That show is an English and Welsh family.
