A wealth of talent, just mediocre results

The entire cast of this show was marvelous, in my opinion. I have really
enjoyed watching Mary McCormack, Ricardo Chavira, and Mike O'Malley over the
years in other projects. The younger actors were good too.

Unfortunately, a great cast is only 50% of a great show.

The writers couldn't seem to come up with anything very original for these great
actors to do. One critic said it best: "This show is a pale imitation of the
hit "Modern Family."

After years as a dramatic actress, I was looking forward to Mary McCormack
trying comedy. Nice try, but no cigar.

I do hope that these wonderful people land some new projects worthy of their
talent soon.

I would enjoy having ALL episodes of this show (aired and unaired) released
to DVD, just Mary, Ricardo, and Mike if nothing else.

Totally agree. She is so much better than this awful stuff. Must be a frustrating aspect of being a professional actor. But you gotta pay the bills. Especially now her husband has proven himself to be such a loser.

I totally agree! I was looking forward to seeing Mary in a comedy! I'm sad that they cancelled it. but as mentioned in another post, it was basically today's version of Modern Family..but the cast was great!! Nice try!! :0)
